I am a former broadcast journalist with years of experience in video production, news reporting and photography. My new passion is photography.
Actually, photography has always been a hobby of mine; my first experiences in photography occured when I was in college and taking pictures and developing them was quite primitive. I didn't care much for the darkroom experience of developing photos. As a result, I was more interested in video photography beause of the immediate return on my efforts.
Digital photography has changed all that. Rolls of film no longer pile up in my basement and I can get immediate satisfaction from the pictures I take. Being able to take a photo, download it to the computer, and edit it instantly has helped me to return to my passion...still photography.
